Air New Zealand is on the lookout for more amazing people to join the airline as it continues its biggest recruitment drive to date.
28 July 2022

The airline will be one of more than 30 organisations represented at the Auckland Airport Job Fair this Saturday, and is encouraging job-seekers with a passion for people and interest in aviation and travel to come along.

"With more than 1000 roles to fill across the organisation, from cabin crew, pilots, airports, cargo and contact centre, there's a variety of roles suited to people with all levels of experience," says Air New Zealand Chief People Officer Nikki Dines.

"We're really proud to have brought back so many Air New Zealanders who left the business when the pandemic hit and to welcome a further 1000 new employees into our family."

Since the start of the year the airline has been ramping up its recruitment efforts as borders started to open, and it has been working to rehire and recruit as fast as possible to ensure we can get our customers to where they need to be.

The airline made over 430 offers across the business in May alone, with similar numbers in June, the highest in Air New Zealand's history.

"Working for Air New Zealand feels like being part of a whānau. We have an amazing culture and a team of incredibly passionate people, and we all look out for each other and pitch in to help as we can."

Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to come to Auckland Airport, this Saturday 30 July, from 9am to 4pm, and visit www.airportjobfair.co.nz for more information and to register for one of the sessions running across the day.
