Air New Zealand calls for Kiwi streets in need of a Halloween lolly top-up

Kiwi kids are taking Halloween more seriously than ever, and anyone who lives on a popular trick-or-treating street knows just how quickly the lolly bowl can empty.

So, this Halloween, Air New Zealand is once again lending a helping hand, with a new twist.

This year, we're asking Kiwi to nominate the streets that could use a little extra lolly support, with Air New Zealand cabin crew heading out on Halloween night to top up supplies in selected neighbourhoods.

Air New Zealand General Manager Cabin Crew, Sarah Murray, said the idea follows the fun the airline had getting amongst Halloween celebrations last year.

"Last Halloween our crew headed out into communities to help keep lolly bowls topped up, and we loved seeing just how much some neighbourhoods get behind the night.

"This year, we are asking Kiwi to tell us where our lollies are needed most.

"Our crew are pretty experienced when it comes to handing out lollies, so we're taking those skills from the skies to the streets for one night."

Kiwi can nominate their street and tell Air New Zealand why it deserves a Halloween lolly top-up, with neighbourhoods across New Zealand receiving a visit from cabin crew armed with supplies of the airline's iconic lollies.

Sarah says it's a simple way for Air New Zealand to join in the Halloween fun and give neighbourhood lolly bowls a helping hand.

"Our lollies have been part of the Air New Zealand experience for generations, and Halloween is a pretty good excuse to share a few more of them.

"So, if your street goes all out for Halloween, we'd love to hear from you."

Want an Air New Zealand lolly top-up on your street?

Nominate your neighbourhood HERE and tell us why our crew should make a stop near you this Halloween.

Nominations close Sunday 25 October with selected streets contacted ahead of Halloween.
